Neal Doshi, 28, of Somerset, New Jersey, was committed to the Carbon County Prison, Nesquehoning, on charges relating to stealing snowboards at the Blue Mountain Ski Area, Blue Mountain Drive, Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said they were called there at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 27 and charged Doshi with theft, receiving stolen property, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Police said he stole two snowboards, one valued at $700 and the other worth $600.
