Planning board makes recommendations

Carbon County Planning Commission, in its final meeting of the year on Tuesday, made recommendations on four land proposals:

• Hazleton Beltway Center, Pagnotti Enterprises, received plan approval for a proposed lot consolidation plan that it previously reviewed in Banks Township. The commission initially reviewed the plan, which calls for cleaning up previous mining parcels and constructing two warehouses in June. The project is mostly Luzerne and Schuylkill counties with only a small portion in Banks.

• Robert and Maureen Gromley received conditional plan approval for a proposed lot line revision at 36 Hopkins Circle, Towamensing Trails, section 3, Penn Forest Township. The plans call for combining two lots.

• Thomas and Ruth Ann Naphys received conditional plan approval for a proposed lot line revision at 113 Spencer Lane, Towamensing Trails, section 1, Penn Forest Township. The plans call for combining three lots.

• Robert Pittel received conditional plan approval for a proposed subdivision at 382 Evergreen Lane, Lausanne Township. The plans call for subdividing 12.885 acres into two lots.

The commission also reviewed one plan, but made no recommendations. The review will be sent to the municipality for inclusion with further review.

• Mountain Laurel Resort Holdings LLC proposes subdividing 136.17 acres into two lots at Mountain Laurel Resort and Spa in Kidder Township, but there were several issues to address first.
