A Lehigh County man was given a time-served sentence on Friday in Carbon County court after previously admitting to unlawful contact with a teenage girl.

Stephen Jay Dilcher, 28, of Slatington, was sentenced by Judge Joseph J. Matika to serve 211 days to one day less 24 months in prison with credit for 211 days already served.Dilcher pleaded to one count of unlawful contact with a minor of a sexual nature, a felony three.He was charged by Nesquehoning police with contacting a then 15-year-old female resident by computer. Police said during the conversation Dilcher had with the teen on the computer he asked the girl to send him nude photos of herself and also about having sex with him.Dilcher, who has no prior contacts with the law, told Matika, "I'm very sorry for what I did. I did it on Facebook and took it too far."Because the charge falls under Megan's Law, Dilcher must register for the next 25 years as a sexual offender.He was also ordered to get a sexual offender assessment, supply a DNA sample, render 75 hours of community service, have no contact with the victim, have no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18, pay court costs of about $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on parole.
