Blue Ridge provided new warm winter hats, gloves and socks to children throughout the community with their “Spread the Warmth” initiative.
To help spread the warmth, for every customer that added a top-tier high speed internet package in the month of November, Blue Ridge donated a new hat, pair of gloves, and socks to help keep a child warm this winter.
Working with the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, one of the many community partners supporting this initiative, donated items were distributed in plenty of time for the holidays.
“It is an honor and privilege to partner with Blue Ridge - giving back and making a difference in the lives of the people in our communities is most rewarding. It is very important to give back and do everything you can to help those in need at all times, but it is especially important now when things feel so divided,” stated Marsha Macalush, Project Manager - CarbonCorps, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
“I am very proud of how our organization supports the communities we serve throughout the year and our “Spread the Warmth” campaign is another great way we are able to give back,” said Mark Masenheimer, vice president of operations for Blue Ridge. “By partnering with the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, we delivered some much needed clothing items for hundreds of children just in time for winter.
“Thank you to all of our customers and community partners who helped us ‘Spread the Warmth.’”
