Fire companies from three Carbon county communities responded to a dwelling fire Wednesday morning in Nesquehoning. The fire was reported around 8:30 a.m. at 65 W. Railroad St. Neighbors reported seeing heavy black smoke pouring from the chimney. Firefighters searched the initial and adjoining homes for victims.
