Palmerton Borough Council took the following action on Thursday:

• Announced the borough received a recycling grant for roughly $5,400. The grant is for the tonnage that the borough reports annually to the state of recycling by its residents and businesses.

• Approved a resolution appointing Kirk Summa & Co LLP as auditing firm for the 2021 audit.

• Approved a lot line adjustment for 741/769 E. Princeton Ave.

• On a 6-0 vote, with one abstention, agreed to have the Pace-Makers Association hold its monthly meetings in council chambers. Council President Terry Costenbader abstained because he is a member of the organization.
