Kirtanananda Swami Bhaktipada, founder of the Hare Krishna religious sect, revealed today in a pre-press conference he is ready to recommend to his sect that the Flagstaff location is an ideal site to build one of the sect’s Cities of God.

The Swami told the Times News, “We can supply the money and the organization and if our friends are willing to supply the manpower, I think we can establish a city in God’s name here.”

The Flagstaff property is currently for sale at a reported $1.2 million by its owner, Thomas Klitsch of Jim Thorpe, who has scheduled a press conference for today to announce developments in the negotiations with the Krishna sect.
