Voters in the 12 boroughs that comprise Carbon County will be voting on the positions of mayor, council members and tax collector in 2017.

Below is a listing of the offices that are to be decided in this year's elections:Beaver Meadows: one mayor, four-year term; three council members, four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Bowmanstown: one mayor, four-year term; four council members, four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.East Side: one mayor, four-year term; four council members, one for a two-year term and three for four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Jim Thorpe: one mayor, four-year term; four council members, four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Lansford: one mayor, four-year term; three council members, four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Lehighton: one mayor, four-year term; three council members, three-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Nesquehoning: one mayor, four-year term; four council members, three for four-year terms and one for a two-year term; and one tax collector, four-year term.Palmerton: one mayor, four-year term; five council members, one for a two-year term and four for four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Parryville: one mayor, four-year term; four council members, four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Summit Hill: one mayor, four-year term; three council members, four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.Weatherly: four council members for four-year terms; and one tax collector for a four-year term.Weissport: one mayor, four-year term; three council members, four-year terms; and one tax collector, four-year term.
