Schuylkill County Prison Warden David Wapinsky shared some news he probably would rather not have wanted to report at Wednesday’s prison board meeting.

“We do have four confirmed cases of COVID inside the jail,” he said, adding the latest quarantined one will finish Nov. 15.

The inmates are in isolation, he said.

He also said three staff members are confirmed to have COVID, adding the last one will be done with quarantine Nov 16.

Wapinsky said the staff members are not at work.
