Schuylkill County court

During hearings Jan. 16, the following defendants received county prison sentences:

Stephanie Parliament

, 32, Kennett Square, will serve nine to 23 months, and she must also pay $11,953 to a victim. Parliament was arrested Feb. 15, 2018, by Tamaqua police officer Richard Bekesy and charged with theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property. She pleaded guilty to the first charge; the other two charges were dropped. She will be credited with 195 days already served.

Parliament was also arrested by St. Clair police officer Brad Blanner Dec. 19, 2017, and Jan. 15, 2018, each time on retail theft charges. She received probation for 12 months on those charges, to run concurrently.

Dominic Chickilly

, 26, Summit Hill, was sentenced to two to 17 months. He was arrested April 18, 2018, by Tamaqua police officer Karl Harig and charged with robbery, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, simple assault and harassment. The charges of robbery, receiving stolen property and harassment were dropped; Chickilly will serve the two to 17 months for each of the theft and simple assault charges, the sentences to run concurrently.

Chickilly was also arrested June 12, 2017, by Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael Allar and charged with driving under the influence and careless driving. He was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months on the DUI charge, to run concurrently with his other sentences; the careless driving charge was dropped.

Chickilly was arrested by Rush Township police officer Frederick Lahovski on Jan. 14, 2018, and charged with forgery and theft by deception. He was found guilty of the theft by deception charge and must pay restitution of $50 to the One Stop, Tamaqua. The forgery charge was dropped.

James R. Kresge

, 36, Lehighton, was sentenced to six to 12 months on a charge of receiving stolen property. He was arrested April 30, 2017, by Anthony Houser, West Penn Township police. Charges of driving while operator’s privileges were suspended or revoked, improper class license, not wearing proper headgear and speeding were dismissed. He must also pay $277 in fines.

Randa E. Kehl

, 30, Coaldale, will serve 30 days to 23 months on a charge of hindering apprehension; a charge of false reports was dismissed. Kehl was arrested Dec. 26, 2017, by Coaldale police officer Anthony Houser.

Jordan Michael Charle March

, 36, Palmerton, will serve 72 hours to six months on a driving under the influence charge. March was arrested Oct. 29, 2017, by Tamaqua police officer Dinu Dermagosian. March will also undergo a 12-month license suspension.

Retail theft charges

Tami L. Maurer

, 35, Barnesville, was arrested May 31, 2018, by Pennsylvania State trooper Todd Heintz and charged with retail theft. She must pay $278 in restitution to Boscov’s, and will be on probation for 12 months.

Arthur M. Rodweller

, 22, Lansford, was arrested Oct. 16, 2017, by officer Brad Blanner, St. Clair Police Department, and charged with retail theft. He must make restitution to Walmart of $450.98 and will be on probation for two years.

David B. Argott

, 41, Lansford, was arrested May 4, 2018, by Pennsylvania State Police Officer Robert Oakley and charged with retail theft. He must pay $47.69 to the Adult Shop 61 and pay a $201 bench warrant and transportation fee. He will be on probation for 12 months.

Admitted to ARD program

John Carboni

, 46, Barnesville, was arrested Jan. 26, 2018, by Mahanoy City police officer Thomas J. Rentschler and charged with altering/forging of documents, driving while operator’s privileges are suspending, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without inspection. He must pay $350 for the ARD program, $277 in fines and must serve 10 hours community service. He will be on probation for 12 months.

Brad C. Frye

, 37, Quakake, was arrested July 25, 2018, by Pennsylvania State Police trooper Michael Allar and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He must pay $350 for the ARD program, pay $100 to the substance abuse fund and serve 10 hours community service. He will be on probably for 12 months.

Matthew L. Stone

, 43, Cumbola, was arrested Jan. 4, 2018, by West Penn Township police officer Christopher Fischi and charged with two counts of driving under the influence, and disregarding traffic lane. He must pay lab fees of $500 to Schuylkill Medical Center South, pay fines of $102 and pay $500 to defray the cost of the ARD program. He will be on probation for 12 months.
