• Tamaqua Veterans Day Parade, 10 a.m. Nov. 6.

• The Carbon County Veterans Day parade will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7 in Jim Thorpe. It is hosted by the Dolan-Jones-Martino American Legion Post 304 and the Carbon County Department of Veterans Affairs. A rain date has been set for Nov. 14.

• Eldred Township: Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Eldred Township Veterans Memorial at 490 Memorial Road, Kunkletown, at the municipal building. All are welcome.

• The West End American Legion is hosting an open community ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11, preceded by an Honor Guard ceremony at 10:30 a.m. There will be guest speakers and a light lunch will be provided.
