Mahoning Township supervisors took the following action on Wednesday:

• Approved the Wendy’s professional fees escrow and letter of credit to release professional fees and letter of credit contingent upon receiving the township engineer’s OK that all improvements have been made, and all professional fees paid.

• On a 3-2 vote, approved the Watkins Architect Professional Agreement, which is a proposal for plans and specifications for the Diaz building. Supervisor Robert Slaw and board Chairman Bruce Steigerwalt were opposed.

• Discussed an ordinance that would call for making a portion of Church Street one way in a southerly direction. The plan is to have board solicitor Tom Nanovic draft an ordinance before advertisement and adoption.

• Ratified a motion for the police car purchase.

• Ratified a motion to have the township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance and zoning done by LTL.

• Scheduled budget workshops for 6 p.m. Oct. 27, Nov. 3, and Nov. 15.
