The Schuylkill County District Attorney’s office is looking for Tyler Argust Cimino on a bench warrant.

His name is one of many listed on the county website, co.schuylkill.pa.us.

Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville charged him with two counts of DUI: controlled substance, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive at a safe speed, careless driving, disregarding a traffic lane, and failure to use a seat belt for an incident April 3. A preliminary hearing was held Sept. 14 in Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer’s courtroom where charges were held for court.

Police responded to a crash in the area of Route 309 North (Mile Hill Road) in the area of Silverbrook Road in Kline Township. Upon arrival they saw a 2015 Subaru RX with front and side damage. Cimino was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton prior to police arrival. He was later taken to the Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Trauma Near Intensive Care Unit.

A sweatshirt and a “small green empty plastic ziplock baggie” were found on scene. The seat belt wasn’t used as it didn’t have wear marks, police said.

Witnesses said the vehicle was driving fast and became airborne, rolling over numerous times before Cimino was ejected.

Blood was obtained from a hospital stay and sent to NMS Labs for testing. Results indicated amphetamine and methamphetamine were in his system, police said.
