The Carbon County Friends of Animals will conduct a drive-thru turkey/beef dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7 at 77 W. 13th St. Jim Thorpe.

Due to the shortage of chicken, they will now have turkey instead. Those who already purchased a chicken ticket and are OK with receiving turkey may keep that ticket and present it at the drive-thru. Those who would rather have a beef dinner, or if they would prefer a refund, should contact them within the next two weeks.

The meal will be provided by A&C Catering. Advance tickets only. There is a $10 donation.
