Dog owners who think their pooch has what it takes should plan to enter them into an upcoming exhibit.

The Bowmanstown Community Dog Show will take place Saturday in Bowmanstown and will feature a Dog Walk on the D&L Trail.

Sponsored by Bowmanstown Area Residents Connected, it will leave at 9 a.m. from the Marvin Gardens Trailhead in East Penn Township.

Registration for the dog show begins at 11 a.m.

The judging and show start at 11:30 a.m. at the Oliver Solt Pavilion next to the Bowmanstown Fire Company on Lime Street.

There will be 10 fun categories such as Best Dog Costume; Best Dog Trick; Best Tail Wagging; Liveliest Dog; Furriest/Fluffiest Dog; Cutest Dog; Manliest Dog; Girliest Dog; Dog/Owner Look Alike; and Most Expressive Eyes.

The cost is $5 per category per dog.

There will be prizes, participant ribbons and goodie bags.

Food and drinks will also be available to purchase.

There will also be a basket raffle, silent auction and vendors.
