Four first-time offenders in the criminal justice system were placed in Carbon County's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program on Tuesday by Judge Steven R. Serfass.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program their record is wiped clean. If they fail to complete it, or are revoked from it, they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.All were placed for a year, unless otherwise noted.Alicia Marie Blocker, 32, of Lehighton, was placed on a charge of resisting arrest. She was charged for an incident on Nov. 7, 2016, in the area of 102 Bridge St., involving officer Bruce Broyles of the Lehighton police.She was assessed $450 for the cost of the program and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment and render 50 hours of community service.Kerry Pree Cummings, 40, of Jim Thorpe was placed on a driving under the influence charge. He was arrested on Sept. 2, 2016, by state police at Lehighton along Route 209 in Jim Thorpe. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.Cummings was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service, his license was suspended for 60 days and he must follow all recommendations of his drug and alcohol evaluation.Noah Norman Michlovsky, 20, of Lehighton, was placed for 18 months on a charge of criminal trespass. He was arrested on Dec. 17, 2016, by Lehighton police at 353 N. Second St. for allegedly entering the property, which was unoccupied at the time, without permission.He was assessed $450 and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and render 75 hours of community service.Hasan Rafek Spencer, 24, of Albrightsville, was placed for six months on a charge of false identification to law enforcement. He was arrested on May 26 by Kidder Township police following a vehicle stop.He was assessed $450 and ordered to render 25 hours of community service.Defendents must pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program.
