A Tamaqua man admitted on Tuesday in Carbon County court to his part in burglaries of residences in Lansford.

Corey Lee Bilsak, 25, pleaded guilty in two pending cases to felony counts of burglary and criminal trespass and was told by Judge Joseph J. Matika that at the time of sentencing he faced a prison term.Bilsak admitted entering a home along East Kline Avenue on Nov. 7, 2014, and removing various items including a Xbox, guitar, watch and computer. He also admitted his part in an entry on June 6, 2015, to a home along East Ridge Street in which jewelry valued at over $4,000 was taken and later sold at pawnshops.The burglary count is a felony one and the trespass charge a felony three.Matika deferred sentencing and ordered the adult probation office to prepare a presentence investigation report.
