The Palmerton Hospital Auxiliary’s Chrysanthemum and Krispy Kreme Donut Sale is just around the corner.

Pickup date is between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 18 in the parking lot of the old Palmerton Hospital, 135 Lafayette Ave.

However, all items must be preordered and prepaid. The deadline to place the order is Friday.

Elisabeth Leshock, event co-coordinator, explained the significance of the sale.

“Because this and other events like this, like the one we have in the spring and the Nearly New Shop, all the money we make off this goes really to the St. Luke’s campus,” Leshock said.

“We kept the name Palmerton Hospital Auxiliary because it would be very expensive to change it.”

Checks should be made payable to the Palmerton Hospital Auxiliary, P.O. Box 312, Palmerton, PA 18071.

Otherwise, orders may be dropped off at the Nearly New Thrift Shop in Palmerton, 225 Delaware Ave.
