State police at Schuylkill Have are investigating the death of a 10-month-old child on Sunday in Schuylkill County.

Troopers released few details stating the child was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville, where he was pronounced dead about 3:24 p.m.

The incident occurred along Clay Street in Tremont borough.

Troopers said the investigation is ongoing.
