The plans call for subdividing three lots off of a 40.901-acre lot owned by the Hopstocks and then combining new tracts one and two, as well as an additional lot owned by the Hopstocks to create a 1.468-acre lot and combined tract three with a lot owned by the Wentzes to create a 5.053-acre lot.

No recommendation

• A plan for Gregory F. and Rosemarie Strubinger was reviewed but no recommendation was made. The plans call for subdividing a 12.4482-acre lot into two lots at the intersection of Snyder Street, Cypress Street and Cemetery Road in Jim Thorpe. In the notes that will be sent to the borough, the planning commission states it believes it found several areas of noncompliance with the requirements of the township’s land development ordinances that preclude any recommendation for approval at this time.

• A plan for a proposed new gas station by Rital LLC and Sunil Patel at 1295 Route 534 in Penn Forest Township was reviewed, but no recommendation was made. In the notes that will be sent to the township, the planning commission states it believes it found several areas of noncompliance with the requirements of the township’s land development ordinances that preclude any recommendation for approval at this time.
