The Tamaqua School Board approved many personnel matters Tuesday.

Resignations

• Laura Shook, elementary school principal, on a date to be agreed upon with the superintendent.

• Philip Traube, high school math teacher, effective Aug. 15.

• Kara Schiel, middle school life skills teacher, effective immediately.

• Kerrie Gabriel, part-time paraprofessional, effective immediately.

Employment

• Tara Orefice, elementary school principal, salary of $88,000, starting date to be agreed upon.

• Lisa Shirvinski, high school assistant principal, salary of $82,000, starting date to be agreed upon.

• Joseph Berezwick, certified teacher, salary of $43,769, beginning the 2021-2022 school year.

• Vincent Schultz, certified teacher, salary of $42,528, beginning the 2021-2022 school year.

• Catherine Catizone, certified teacher, salary of $49,528, beginning the 2021-2022 school year.

• Bailey Rottet, speech pathologist certified teacher, salary of $50,428, beginning the 2021-2022 school year.

Retirement

• Caitlin Miller, middle school and high school speech and language pathologist, effective last day of the 2020-2021 school year.
