The Tamaqua Public Library is holding three free events.
The library's Spring Story Time Program continues from 10-11 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.The program is for children up to the age of 5, and the theme this spring is animals.Children may sign up for the program at the library's front desk, or by calling 570-668-4660.The PA One Book per Every Young Child will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 29.The program is for children ages newborn to 5, though older siblings are welcome.This year's book is "Daniel Finds a Poem" by Pennsylvania author Micha Archer.Children must be present to receive a book while supplies last.The library will host a free comic book day from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 6.The event will be a fun-filled day with crafts, Super Hero movies and creating comic strips.Those who attend may receive one comic book per family from a varied selection of comics while supplies last.
