Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, recently held a picnic to get past, current and new families together before the start of the new school year. More than 75 students and parents attended representing more than 25 families. The weather was perfect only exceeded by the food which was served. Students and parents had plenty of char-broiled ham/cheeseburgers, hot dogs, sweet and onion/green pepper sausages, with a wide selection of desserts. Attendees enjoyed horseshoes, water balloon tosses, volleyball, football, baseball and plenty of swimming. A few swimmers got together for about 20 seconds before they were off to some more activities.
