Lehighton Area Halloween Parade lineup set

The 46th annual Lehighton Area Halloween Parade will be heldSaturday beginning at 4 p.m.

Paraders are permitted to toss candy and gum to spectators, but cannot stop and perform in front of the judges stand. ATVs are not permitted.Registration and division assignments will be held at Ninth and Coal streets beginning at 2 p.m. Please have a representative from your group to register to be eligible for a prize. Tractor-trailer floats must be in line by 3 p.m.The rain date is2 p.m. Sunday. Elaborate pirate float in Lehighton Area Halloween Parade won a first place prize. It was the work of employees of Jim Thorpe National Bank. Employees of the bank followed the float.
