An elderly man was found deceased Wednesday morning along Hill Road in Jim Thorpe Borough, according to police.

Elmer Feuerstein, 94, appears to have died of natural causes, authorities said, but an official autopsy will be conducted Thursday.

Det. Lee Marzen, in a press release, said the death does not appear to be suspicious.

Authorities were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. when a jogger discovered Feuerstein, who investigators said was believed to have been out for a walk.

The autopsy will be done at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest Campus.

Additional details surrounding the death, Marzen said, will be released pending the results of the autopsy.
