On Sunday at 9:45 a.m. a hike will be held to explore the mountain behind Locust Lake State Park, in Barnesville, Schuylkill County, and visit the Silver Creek Fire Tower and Reservoir. The hike is 7.5 miles long and difficult. The pine stands and brush are perfect habitat for birds and other wildlife.

Participants will meet at the visitor parking lot of the Locust Lake park, located before the contact station at 9:45 a.m. to leave for the starting point. Bring a lunch and your dog for a nice relaxing hike in the woods.
