State police at the Pocono barracks reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 3:29 p.m. on June 22 along the turnpike in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Miriam Cuddy, 40, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2019 Hyundai Tucson northbound in the right lane and attempting to exit at the off-ramp at Exit 87, Route 903.

Cuddy lost control of the vehicle and went onto the east berm and struck a guide rail, coming to rest in the right lane.

Cuddy had two passengers, girls, ages 7 and 1. No one was injured. The Tucson had to be towed.
