State police in Schuylkill County report on the following incidents:
• Police at Schuylkill Haven reported a three-vehicle crash at 5:12 p.m. on June 17 along Route 183.
Gabriel T. Dagostino, 21, of Pottsville, was driving a 1994 Toyota Tacoma truck northbound behind a 2014 Ford Focus operated by Robert S. Powanda, 30, of Port Carbon.
A vehicle pulled out of the parking lot of a restaurant in front of Dagostino. Dagostino immediately applied his brakes to avoid a collision. Powanda was unable to stop and struck Dagostino’s vehicle.
Luisa M. Perez, 24, of Port Carbon, driving a 2006 Subaru Legacy, was behind Powanda and was unable to stop and struck his vehicle. No one was injured. The Ford and Subaru were towed. Powanda was cited for not having a valid license.
• A deer was the cause of a one-vehicle crash in Schuylkill County at 1:09 p.m. June 18 along Route 209 in Blythe Township.
State police at Frackville said James E. Zembas, 60, of New Philadelphia, was driving a 2013 Toyota Tacoma truck northbound when a deer entered the road in front of him.
He swerved and went onto the west berm and struck multiple trees.
Zembas suffered a minor injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville. The truck was towed.
