A Slatington man is facing charges after he was involved in a hit-and-run crash.

State police at Bethlehem said the incident occurred at 8:48 p.m. May 2 along Old Post Road in North Whitehall Township. Troopers responded to a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash.

The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of troopers.

Troopers said the vehicle was later discovered at the home of Allen Clark, 34. Police said that Clark was heavily intoxicated and had operated the vehicle while under the influence.

Charges were filed.
