Slatington Borough Council approved the following on Monday:

• Will apply for a multimodal grant for Northern Slatington Stormwater Project.

• A Slate Heritage Trail trash receptacle costing the borough $476, a $500 match from the Second Chance Shoppe.

• Will utilize pavers left over from the Veterans Memorial project to finish the road project on Center and Main Street.

• Approved $1,530 from BEI Electrical for WTP lighting upgrades.

• Authorized a skin patching project at the sewer plant and borough streets not to exceed $18,000.

The next Slatington Borough meeting is 7 p.m. on July 12 at Council Chambers, Slatington Municipal Building at 125 S. Walnut St.
