The Carbon County Commissioners approved the following personnel items during their weekly meeting on Thursday.

• Resignations: Faith N. Fritz of Catasauqua, 911 operator, effective June 21; Joyce-Anne Schuster of Kunkletown, victim/witness coordinator, effective June 7.

• Hire as recommended by department supervisor: Jade J. Washousky of Summit Hill, social services aide I, Children and Youth Services, effective June 21.

• Hires: Raymond G. Donnelly of Jim Thorpe, summer supervisor and Gunnar B. Rehrig of Jim Thorpe, summer laborer, both Liquid Fuels Program, effective June 14.

• Treasurer appointments: Owen D. Brady of Jim Thorpe, part-time licensing clerk and Tatianna M. Zeleniak of Nesquehoning, part-time licensing clerk, both effective July 8.

• Change of status: Tracy M. Smith of Lehighton, from domestic relations specialist I to domestic relations specialist II, effective June 28.
