READING, Pa. (AP) - A truck driver involved in a fiery chain-reaction crash that killed three people in eastern Pennsylvania has been ordered to stand trial on vehicular homicide charges.

At a preliminary hearing Monday, Berks County prosecutors said fatigue was partly to blame for the accident allegedly triggered by 56-year-old Vincente Espinvera.

Prosecutors say Espinvera was tired after getting off an overnight flight from Arizona when he started driving the tractor-trailer May 12.

Police say he was traveling east on Interstate 78 through a construction zone when he caused a seven-car pileup. A married couple from York and a deputy state attorney general from Allentown were killed.

Espinvera, who lives in Belleville, New Jersey, is free on bail. His lawyer did not immediately return a request for comment.
