Carbon officials discuss return to normal operations

Carbon Commissioner Rocky Ahner said he hopes the county can get back into the swing of normal operations following pandemic shutdowns. Carbon County offices currently have no employees with COVID so he feels now is the time to begin working to implement getting people back into the offices.

“It’s good that it’s zero,” he said, noting that people are getting their vaccines.

Commissioners’ Chairman Wayne strongly encouraged employees to get their vaccinations because it helps when determining what the county should implement moving forward to get back to a new normalcy.

He said that right now, visitors to the office should still wear masks to the county buildings.
