A Lansford man found "waving a gun" around his residence while a young child was in the area entered a guilty plea in Carbon County court on Tuesday.

Joshua Joseph Suveg, 21, pleaded guilty to one count of recklessly endangering another person before Judge Joseph J. Matika.Lansford police arrested Suveg on March 13 when they responded tothe 300 block of West Patterson Street for a report of a person with a gun causing a disturbance. On scene, officers learned that during a domestic dispute with his girlfriend Suveg was "waving a gun" around in the residence in the presence of the femaleand her 2-year-old son.Police said Suveg did not point the gun at either victim and had threatened to shoot himself. Alcohol was a factor in the incident.Matika placed Suveg on probation for a year and ordered he get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment, render 50 hours of community service, pay court costs of about $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation.
