Carbon Career & Technical Institute Joint Operating Committee voted to make changes to the graduation program scheduled for June 18. The changes were made due to the lifting of restrictions from the Covid19 by Gov. Tom Wolfe.

The program will now be held from 10 a.m. to noon and will be held rain or shine, as it will take place under a tent in the CCTI field. Each student will be permitted to invite four guests. A traditional graduation program will be held that will include the entire class and guests.

The changes were applauded by members of the committee, and recent letters from various students were all in favor of a traditional graduation ceremony.
