An employee of a Carbon County business has been charged with stealing from his employer.

State police at Fern Ridge responded to the Onvo service station located along Route 534 in East Side Boro for a theft report.

An investigation revealed that an employee, identified as Justin Hollrigl, 35, of White Haven, had been stealing money and miscellaneous items from the business since Jan. 10 until March 16. When confronted, Hollrigl confessed to the thefts. Ten packs of cigarettes, a carton of cigarettes, four gallons of iced tea and $1,011 in cash were taken.
