The Carbon County Commissioners, last week, approved the following items.

• Approved a letter from Mary Figura on her resignation from the Carbon County Children and Youth Advisory Board, effective Dec. 30, 2020.

• Approve a proposal from Communication Systems Integrators of Allentown to replace the existing door control system with an expansion of the existing OSSI system at the Carbon County Correctional Facility. The cost of the project is $222,464.

• Approve an agreement with Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation to establish a small-business assistance program to providing funding up to $10,000 through a CDBG Business Assistance Program.

• Approved proposals from Corporate Environments of Bethlehem for furnishings on the first floor of 76 Susquehanna St. The total cost of the contracts is $164,561.62.
