                Six individual state champions will be crowned in Hershey today at the PIAA cross country championship.

                Pleasant Valley's Seth Slavin 16th in boys Class 3A race with time of 16:23. Teammate Gabe Sullivan 75th in 17:07
                (1:33 p.m.) In the boys Class AA race, Northwestern's Robert Leiser finished 48th at 17:34, teammate Phil Castrine 78th at 17:53. Lehighton's Michael Blacketter was 82nd with a time of 17:54. Jim Thorpe's Samuel Hydro was 213rd at 19:49.
                (12:30 p.m.) Palmerton's Jake Martinez was 119th in the Class A boys race with a time of 18:38. Marian's Aaron Srinivasan was 153rd in 19:02.
                (11:50 a.m.) Lizz Eberhardt of Pleasant Valley finished 80th in the Class 3A girls race with a time of 20:14.

                In the Class AA girls race, Northwestern's Madeline Consuelos finished 36th with a time of 20:24 and her teammate Molly Tarvin finished 62nd with a time of 20:51.
                Lehighton's Cera Gaston finished 109th with a time of 21:19.
                Tamaqua had three runners in the top 150. Nicole Wasserleben finished 87th with a time of 21:06; Sarah Maue, 120th at 21:29, and Monika Shimko finished 140th with a time of  21:43.
                (10:40 a.m.) Marian's Tina Capparell took fifth overall in the Class A girls race with a time of 19:26. Caparell was in third place with one mile to go, and fourth at the first mile marker.
