Bowmanstown Borough Hall will reopen to visitors upon the receipt of several hand sanitizers.
On a unanimous measure, borough council on Tuesday agreed to purchase three hand sanitizer stations in an amount not to exceed $130 apiece.
Also as part of its motion, council announced that once they receive them, the borough office will be open to residents while still following mask wearing and 6-foot social distancing requirements.
In March, Mayor Zach Snyder asked whether council had any plans to reopen the building.
Councilman Rob Moyer said at that time that council needed to review its COVID-19 policy on a monthly basis.
Residents have been able to come in by appointment.
