About 15 people were in attendance during a gathering of the Summit Hill Revitalization Committee last night in the borough hall.

The major items discussed included the potential of developing the Mount Jeffersonian Plane, which was a vital part of the Switchback Gravity Railroad, but is inaccessible because of a blocked roadway, and the Black Rocks, both in the interest of enhancing tourism; the growing list of absentee landlords who are allegedly not maintaining their properties; and improving the appearance of the entrances to the community.

The meeting was conducted by Dale Freudenberger, market towns coordinator of the Delaware and Lehigh Heritage Corridor.
