Schuylkill County Judge John J. Domalakes have accepted six people charged by local police in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program.

Acceptance into the program is not an admission of guilt, and the defendants' records may be expunged upon completion.Justin D. Startzel, 27, of Tamaqua: Charged by McAdoo police with driving under the influence and headlight violations on July 5, 2015.Judge John J. Domalakes accepted Startzel into ARD for 12 months and ordered him to pay $500 to offset the cost of the program.Startzel also was ordered to perform 10 hours of community service, successfully complete the Alcohol Highway safety School, and pay court costs and fees.Deb Barbosa, 23, of Mahanoy City: Charged by Rush Township police with retail theft and receiving stolen property on Sept. 4, 2015.Domalakes accepted Barbosa into ARD for 12 months and ordered her to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program, perform 10 hours of community service, and pay court costs and fees.Darren Charbonnier, 29, of Tamaqua: Charged by Rush Township police with theft of leased property and receiving stolen property on Nov. 4, 2015.Domalakes accepted Charbonnier into ARD for 12 months and ordered him to pay $350 to offset the cost of the program, perform 10 hours of community service, and pay court costs and fees.Kayla M.
