Vendor space available at Tamaqua festival

Vendor spaces are available for the 32nd Annual Tamaqua Heritage Festival sponsored by the Tamaqua Historical Society, set for Oct. 9.

The event features a large craft and vendor fair, ethnic and festival-favorite food vendors, local organization fundraiser booths, strolling historical re-enactors, tours of the new Tamaqua Area Historical Museum, TSMA antique and classic car show, train station open house, Hegarty Blacksmith Shop tours, blacksmithing demonstrations by Don Campbell, folk musician Dave Matsinko, horse-drawn trolley car rides and Leiby's Autumn Harvest Market featuring fresh squeezed apple cider.The event also includes a live broadcast of the WMGH Polka Program with Polka Joe Manjack, DJ Shawn spinning classic coal heritage music and contemporary tunes, antique shops and local restaurants open, 19th century funeral customs exhibit, military re-enactors, magic shows, home baked goods, and more.To register as a vendor or for more information: 610-597-6722 or by email at
