A Luzerne County man has been charged for threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend and her male acquaintance.
Weatherly Police Department charged Nathanial Cunningham, 25, with terroristic threats, prohibited offensive weapons and harassment after an incident April 10 at Heritage Hill in Weatherly.
Police said a woman was being dropped off by a man to go to work when Cunningham, of White Haven, confronted them with racial slurs and threatened, “I’m going to get my gun, and I’m going to (shoot) you in the face.”
When police responded, Cunningham was driving away. He was placed into custody, and had a dagger in his front left pocket.
Cunningham told police that the victim was his old girlfriend and that he still loves her.
He admitted to confronting them and threatening to shoot them.
He appeared before District Judge Joseph D. Homanko of Weatherly and waived charges to court.
He is currently free in lieu of $50,000 monetary bail.
