Carbon County court — ARD

Fourteen defendants in pending driving under the influence cases were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program last week.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program, their record will be wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it, or are revoked from it, then they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.

The four were placed by President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.

All were placed for a year.

Corey Elizabeth Arner, 32, of Allentown, was arrested on Nov. 9, 2019, by Nesquehoning police along Railroad Street. A test revealed a 0.17 BAC.

She was assessed $550 for the cost of the program and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Charles J. Hauser Jr., 67, of Lehighton, was arrested on June 25, 2020, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance along Penn Avenue in Lehighton.

He was assessed $650 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Jared Michael McGuire, 26, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on Nov. 23, 2019, by Jim Thorpe police along Center Avenue. A test revealed a 0.22 BAC.

He was assessed $650 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Gabriel J. Pujol Ciprian, 22, of Hazleton, was arrested on Aug. 17, 2020, by state police at Hazleton along Hudson Drive in Packer Township. A test revealed a 0.10 BAC.

He was assessed $500 and his license was suspended for 30 days.

Jennifer Ann Dellecker, 44, of Lansford, was arrested on Sept. 8, 2020, by Summit Hill police for DUI of a controlled substance along Route 209.

She was assessed $600 and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Cheryl L. Endy, 52, of Whitehall, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2020, by state police at Pocono along the turnpike in Franklin Township. A test revealed a 0.32 BAC.

She was assessed $550 and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Eric Jude Erlemann Jr., 27, of Danielsville, was arrested on Nov. 20, 2020, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance along Bank Street in Bowmanstown. He refused a test and was involved in a hit-and-run crash.

He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Jacqueline A. Evans, 45, of Pen Argyl, was arrested on Sept. 19, 2020, by state police at Lehighton along Route 248 in Franklin Township. A test revealed a 0.15 BAC.

She was assessed $500 and her license was suspended for 30 days.

Lisa A. Schardien, 58, of Palmerton, was arrested on Nov. 24, 2020, by Palmerton police for DUI of a controlled substance along Delaware Avenue.

She was assessed $600 and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Wilbert Lyndon Turner, 27, of Sunbury, Northumberland County, was arrested on July 15, 2020, by state police at Pocono for DUI of a controlled substance along the turnpike in Kidder Township.

He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Robert John Humanick, 36, of Lehighton, was arrested on July 5, 2020, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance along Route 209 in Lehighton.

He was assessed $650 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Victoria A. Lawrence, 67, of Lansford, was arrested on Aug. 9, 2019, by Lansford police for DUI of a controlled substance along Patterson Street.

She was assessed $600 and her license was suspended for 60 days.

Marcos Pedroza, 61, of New York City, New York, was arrested on June 23, 2019, by state police at Lehighton along Interchange Road in Towamensing Township. A test revealed a 0.17 BAC.

He was assessed $550 and his license was suspended for 60 days.

Non-DUI

Carlos Allahshawon Gonzalez, 24, of Queens, New York, was placed on a felony 3 count of public, make, see, etc. access device altered and nine other counts. He was stopped on May 4, 2019, by state police at Fern Ridge along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment.

All defendants must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program.
