Blue Mountain Resort will be reopening for select outdoor adventures on Saturday.
Best known for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, Blue Mountain Resort is also home to many other outdoor adventures May through October.
On Saturday, the mountain will open for select outdoor activities including camping, glamping, hiking, outdoor fitness classes, high ropes course, zip lining, and rock climbing.
Glamping offerings have been expanded.
“Glampers” will now be able to choose from basic or deluxe glamping experiences. The mountain is home to 25 glamping sites, each with their own unique view and setting on the mountain. Deluxe sites are tucked away along ski trails and require a UTV ride out to the site. Basic sites are located in the valley and provide more flat surface; perfect for families and pets.
A new beginner high ropes course has also been built. The new course is perfect for children and adults who may need a little practice before taking on more challenging courses. The beginner course is fully enclosed with netting, removing the need for guests to wear a harness.
Outdoor fitness classes have also been expanded. The mountain now offers typical gym classes such as yoga, cardio and obstacle course race training outdoors. Classes range from beginner to intermediate.
