Schuylkill County Commissioners approved two cooperation agreements with county municipalities at their meeting Wednesday.

By unanimous vote, commissioners went for an agreement with Orwigsburg and Tamaqua boroughs for demolition of buildings owned by the municipalities.

The county will provide the funding, Ron Zimmerman, grant manager, said, adding Orwigsburg bid out their project. Details haven’t been received on the Tamaqua demolition.

The Orwigsburg property is located at 201-203 Long Ave. The county will provide $14,200 funding.

The Tamaqua property is at 252 W. Cottage Ave.
