East Penn Township will begin interviews later this month in an effort to find its next treasurer.
William Donovan resigned from the post in March, leading supervisors to advertise the part-time position.
“We received three applications for the position,” Supervisor Chairman William Schwab said Monday night.
Two of the applicants, he added, wanted to work nights, while the third didn’t have the seven years of accounting or performing similar duties that the township asked for in its advertisement.
Interviews for the position were scheduled for April 19 at 6:30 p.m.
