The Mahoning Township tax collector office at 471 Stewart Creek Road, Lehighton, will be open starting April 1.

Hours will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to noon and 2-5 p.m. Walk-ins will be acceptable with the following conditions: masks are required and one person in the office at a time.

Payments can be mailed in or put into the locked drop box at the office door.

The township and county bills are sent to residents at the beginning of April. The Lehighton Area School District tax bills are typically sent in the beginning of July.
