A Carbon County woman was sentenced to a county prison term recently on counts of access device fraud and retail theft.

Crystal Weber, 35, of Jim Thorpe, was sentenced by Judge Steven R. Serfass to serve nine to one day less 24 months in prison on the retail theft count and six to one day less 24 months on the access device count with the terms running concurrently. The prison terms will be followed by two years of probation.Weber was charged with the first count by Lehighton police. She stole a credit card and used it at a store in the borough. The incident occurred on Feb. 11, 2015. The retail theft count stems from an incident at the Wine & Spirits store in Jim Thorpe in which she stole a bottle of liquor.She was also ordered to make total restitution of $249.44, render a total of 300 hours of community service when released on parole, supply a DNA sample, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, pay court costs of about $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on parole and probation.She was given credit for 125 days already spent in jail on the charges.
