One person was injured following a three-car crash Tuesday afternoon in Palmerton.

Borough police Chief Randy Smith said police were dispatched to the scene at 2:34 p.m.Smith said the incident unfolded as Alice Olson, 58, of Palmerton, was traveling west on Delaware Avenue in the area of Fourth and Delaware, and did not see traffic stopped in front of her.He said Olson's vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Michael Esbin, 47, of Milford, which was stopped, causing his vehicle to be pushed into the back of a vehicle driven by Tonia O' Connor, 48, of Saylorsburg, which was also stopped.Smith said O'Connor complained of neck, head and back pain, and was transported to Palmerton Hospital for treatment.Neither Olson nor Esbin were injured, he said.Smith said all three vehicles were towed from the scene, with each sustaining disabling damage.Olson will be cited for careless driving.EMS and Palmerton Fire Company assisted at the scene.
